100% Authentic Olive Wagyu
Crowd Cow brought Olive Wagyu to the U.S. in 2018, forging direct relationships with the farmers of Shodoshima Island. We continue to be the most trusted provider of Olive Wagyu, as evidenced by our inclusion of certificates of authenticity and dates of harvest with every order.
Why We Sourced It: Saltery
Hand-harvested from the pristine waters of Duxbury Bay, Massachusetts, their sea salt is naturally filtered by oysters and slow-simmered to create delicate, mineral-rich flakes — a perfectly luxe finishing touch.

Making the Most of A5 Wagyu
With great steak comes great responsibility. Use these simple tips as a guide to ensure you make the most of this world-renowned cut of beef.
• Bite-Size Portions: 48 hours prior to cooking to allow your A5 to fully defrost — but always keep it chilled. We recommend slicing small strips to cook one at a time, using the sharpest knife you own (for ultra-clean cuts).
• Season Simply: Sprinkle a little sea salt to taste. Some pepper is fine, too — just don’t overdo it. The flavor of the meat speaks for itself.
• Cook on Stainless Steel: Sear the meat (or a slice roughly 4 inches x 1 inch) directly on the hot surface of the pan for 1-2 minutes each side. You won’t need any oil. A5 is rich enough that it will cook in its own fat.

Steakhouse Experience, Without the Markup
A5 Olive Wagyu typically gets marked up at least double when dining out. Now's your chance to experience this ultra-limited delicacy at home, expertly paired with wild truffle-infused, hand harvested sea salt — at a deal better than retail.
